  July 19

• The Lizard Guys at Senior Center
  July 23
  The library is sponsoring a special children’s program featuring the Lizard Guys on Wednesday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m. The program will be held at the South Plainfield Senior Center, located at 90 Maple Ave. The Lizard Guys is a NJ-based educational entertainment group that provides live animal presentations with lizards, snakes, turtles, frogs and various bugs for children ages four and over and is presented free of charge.   The library will host the childrens program, ?ing Along with Mr. Kurt on Thursday, July 17 at 6:30 p.m. A longtime favorite of South Plainfield Library audiences, Mr. Kurt will perform his trademark silly songs, as well as many old favorites. The program is suggested for children up to age seven. It is presented free of charge; no pre-registration is required. • KCs Korner Charity Golf Fundraiser
  August 11
  KCs Korner, 100 Oak Tree Ave., is hosting a charity golf outing at Concordia Golf Club in Monroe to benefit Haven Hospice on Monday, Aug. 11 beginning with breakfast/registration at 7:30 a.m. at the course. Shotgun start, scramble format 9 a.m. Cost per golfer is $125 and includes two hour open bar, buffet lunch at KCs Korner and door prizes. Cash bar/no cover charge for non-golfers.
