The Observer/Hometown Heros Junior Journalist Contest is open to all school-aged children in South Plainfield, as well as students who attend Sacred Heart School. This is a weekly program promoting the art of writing. Students should submit their original poetry, articles, opinion pieces or essays to their English teachers to submit to the Observer. They may also be dropped off at Hometown Heros, 340 Hamilton Blvd., or at the Observer office.
