Robert S. Robjohns, 44
went to be with God and placed in the waiting arms of his loving grandmothers,
Laura Robjohns Meravi and Wilma Berry on Sunday, Feb. 7. Robert passed away
at Hunterdon Memorial Hospital with his beloved wife, Jacqueline, by his side.
He was born in Newark to his loving parents, Robert and Roberta Robjohns of South Plainfield. He had been
raised in South Plainfield since 1966, moving to Highland Park after his marriage to
Jacqueline, and in 2005 they moved to Stewartsville in North Jersey.
Robert was an auto mechanic for 25 years, working most of those years for Piscataway Auto & Truck.
He enjoyed spending time with his sons, working around the house and tinkering with cars. His love for
music, family and his fondness for speed racer #3 Dale Earnhardt put a smile on his face and
a song in his heart. Robert spent the last few years of his life transporting children
to and from school as a school bus driver.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 17 years, Jacqueline (Belenski); two sons, Kenneth and Thomas
of Stewartsville; his parents, Robert and Roberta Robjohns of South Plainfield;
a brother, Douglas Robjohns and his daughters Hayley and Ashley of South Plainfield;
a sister, Dawn Defrance and husband William and their daughter Miranda of Alpha.
Extended family members on both sides will dearly miss Robert very much.
Memorial services were held for Robert on February 13 at the Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church in Stewartsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations for his wife and children would be greatly appreciated
